Sue Kemp's art has a lyrical quality that beckons the viewer to come into her world of vibrant color and expressive painting.  Each work of art is an adventure which may take you to a quiet moment in time or a scenic view of Tuscany, the Amalfi coast, a French village or the Southwest.  Florals, Texas landscapes and wildflowers are  favorites of this American Artist.

One of my favorite things to do besides painting is gardening, until the heat and mosquitos appear!

Artist's Statement

It is my goal to give the everyday things in life a special place in the viewer's heart, through the use of vivid color and the sparkle of watercolor.  In our busy lives, we often take for granted the beauty which surrounds us.  God has blessed me with the desire and ability to share my vision with you. I find inspiration for my paintings everywhere by keeping my eyes, mind, and heart open to the possibilities. Hopefully one of my watercolors will find it's way into your life.

My art critic, Bubba

Bubba went to Kitty Heaven today 5/27/09. He will be missed.
