On this page, I will post new paintings from my trips to Italy. We explored the Amalfi
Coast, Tuscan hilltop towns and valleys, and Florence in 2006. Included here also are paintings from my sketchbook,
which will inspire larger works.
In 2007, we visited Palermo, Sicily and the Aeolian Islands of Lipari and Panarea. They
are picturesque, rugged islands which were born of the sea.

In Tuscany, we stayed in the Renaissance town of Pienza at Hotel Il Chiostro. Breathtaking
views awaited us from the windows of our villa.

The Amalfi coast, with the sky melting into the sea, is etched in my mind. I gathered my small
group of art students on the terrace of my room at Villa Brunella in Capri, overlooking the sea.
